Abstract

Consequently, solar photovoltaic systems are a renewable energy source that is  utilized all over the world. Nonetheless, one element causing solar systems to become less efficient is the growing temperatures of solar panels. By installing a cooling fan on the back of the solar panel, this issue can be prevented. Bad weather and unforeseen circumstances also lower the solar system's efficiency. This problem was resolved by using an Internet of Things (IoT) system to control the cooling fan and monitor the state of the solar system. The main microprocessor used in Internet of Things systems was Arduino. Arduino makes it simple and inexpensive to construct an Internet of Things solution. Additionally, by following the principle of using ESS (Energy Storage System) strategically, we may use a long-lasting supercapacitor to operate the fans. The system's overall efficiency increased by roughly 4.7% following design and testing. Even though it only has a small 30W capacity, when used in a photovoltaic system greater than 1kW, its efficiency is expected to increase shortly.
